Land-Based Studies Level 1 at Craven College

Course description

If you are looking for a practical course, love the outdoors and are interested in agriculture and the countryside, then you will enjoy the Land-based Diploma.

Based in the rural setting of our Auction Mart Campus you will have access to excellent facilities including animal care units, equine yards, horticulture greenhouses, ATVs and Craven College’s fleet of tractors.
At the end of the course you will have improved your practical skills and have a broad knowledge of the land-based industries from which you can then choose one area to specialise in.
As our specialist tutors have years of experience in the land-based industries they also have many contacts which means that you go on lots of visits to local farms, estates and national parks to reinforce your learning.
