Course description

The course is suitable for those who wish to pursue a career in the plumbing sector and require a broad range of skills to progress into the workplace. On the Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing there is a combination of practical and theoretical elements covering essentials such as health and safety, electrical and scientific principles. Alongside this course the study programme will include opportunities for you to improve your English and Maths. At Level 2 you will further refine your hand skills and gain the ability to complete a variety of detailed plumbing involving both hot and cold water systems. You will also further develop your ability to interpretate information by working out materials required and costings for a variety of systems. The course will also enhance your ability to work to deadlines and increase your speed in the workshop. Excellent organisational and time management skills will be developed through working to strict deadlines to complete practical projects.

Entry requirements

Four or more GCSE's at grades A*-C (9-4) including maths, English and Science or City & Guilds Level 1 Diploma in Plumbing.
