Course description

This qualification is aimed at those who are looking to start a career in the Beauty Therapy industry. It aims to provide you with a range of essential knowledge, technical and practical skills which will equip you to seek employment or further training within the beauty industry. These skills include carrying out treatments such as manicures, pedicures, hair removal, facial treatments, lash and brow treatments, application of make-up and light cured gel polish. You will develop personal qualities to enable you to offer excellent client care and communication to professional standards. You will also learn the theory, anatomy and physiology that support these treatments.

Entry requirements

You will need three or more GCSEs including Science and English Language at grade A*-C (9-4) or a Level 1 qualification.
