Diploma in Plastering Level 2 at Bury College

Course description

The Level 2 Diploma in Plastering is designed to further develop your skills and knowledge, enabling you to work in the industry as a trainee plasterer. You will have the opportunity to develop your tool skills and associated practical skills, and enhance your underpinning knowledge demanded of a plasterer within the construction industry. You will be required to complete a range of practical projects and develop your skills and knowledge through studying a range of subjects including Health and Safety, Trade Technology and other related subjects. You will also have the opportunity to continue to develop your knowledge and practical skills in both solid and fibrous plastering. Approximately 60% of the course is practical based and 40% is theory. You may also have an opportunity to develop skills in a different trade such as joinery or plastering. You will also carry out a work placement as part of your studies as well as having opportunities to be involved in external local community projects.

Entry requirements

Level 1 Diploma in Plastering with equivalent literacy and numeracy.
