Course description

The Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation is designed to develop your skills and knowledge, enabling you to work in the industry as a trainee electrician.The course is intended for those who want to gain the knowledge and abilities that will enable you to progress onto an Electrotechnical Apprenticeship programme. It is designed for new entrants to the industry, providing you with the basic skills and experience you need. The course combines theoretical and practical competencies, which include the installation of electrical circuits, equipment, cables and accessories and the use of hand and power tools.

Entry requirements

Four or more GCSEs at grades A*-C (9-4) including maths, English and science.
