See 'What will I learn'
The course enables students to study the theory of sports performance including fitness and training, performance pathways, healthy lifestyles, sports organisation locally and nationally, physiological and psychological processes. It looks at how an athlete might prepare and recover and the effects exercise has on the body. It also enables students to work as a performer, leader and/or official. It requires students to analyse theirs and others performance and plan for future developments as an athlete in their sport.
Our entry requirement is that you need to have a record of proven commitment to study, a good attendance record and be willing to complete the courses. We shall also take into account your GCSE results.
