Course description

Health and Social Care Apprenticeship
If you choose to undertake an Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care, the College will work closely with your employer to deliver a work-based learning programme which integrates training in the workplace with functional skills and tuition sessions in college.
 
You will also gain the NVQ Diploma qualification in addition to Functional Skills (English and maths). The Apprentice Programme combines 'on the job' paid experience whilst you work for an employer in the care sector (approximately 25 hours per week) and 'off the job' learning at college.

Apprenticeships can be delivered at Intermediate Level (Level 2), Advanced Level (Level 3) or Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4).


Child Care Apprenticeship
Undertaking an Apprenticeship in a Child Care setting will enable you to develop skills and attitudes in the work environment and enhance knowledge and skills whilst undertaking tuition at college.

You will gain the NVQ Diploma in Child Care and Young People's Work in addition to functional skills (English and maths) qualifications. Assessment

Your dedicated assessor will assess you in the workplace, supporting you through the NVQ Diploma. Functional skills and assessments will take place at the College.
