Students will study a selection from the following units: Introduction to Drawing Introduction to Fashion Design Introduction to Fashion Visualisation and Presentation Introduction to pattern Construction Introduction to Hand and Machine Sewing Techniques Introduction to the Fashion Industry.

Future opportunities

The course is worth the equivalent of 4 GCSE's at A to C grade level, so are readily accepted for AS level and college courses. The course leads naturally to further study and 16+ offering progression on to academic and a variety of vocational courses including BTEC Higher in Fasion and Clothing, and possible professions in Costume Design, Fashion/Clothing Design, Fine Art, Footware Design, Hat Design/Millinery.
