Enterprise (Young Enterprise Team Programme) Certificate - Entry Level at Hereward College

Course content

Young Enterprise gives students the opportunity to run their own company. Company members set up and run a company over the course of the year supported by their teacher and volunteer advisers from business.  They elect a board of directors from amongst their peers, raise share capital, market and finance a product or service of their choice. They take part in local trade fares to sell their product or service. At the end of the year they liquidate the company and present a report and accounts. Students gain experience of the real world through taking responsibility and being accountable to their shareholders for the running of the business.   There are three levels to the suite of qualifications.   - OCR Entry Level Certificate in Enterprise (Team Programme)  - OCR Level 1 Certificate in Enterprise (Young Enterprise)  - OCR Level 2 Certificate in Enterprise (Young Enterprise)

Entry requirements

An interest in working in a team and running a business.


Course work and/or exam or controlled tests

Future opportunities

You could progress to the next level of Young Enterprise.
