Health and Social Care (BTEC Level 3 Certificate) at The Sixth Form College Colchester

Course description

BTEC Health and Social Care is an applied course and is therefore particularly aimed at students with an interest in health and social care occupations. Units in the first year cover issues such as Human Lifespan and Development and Meeting Individual Care Needs. There is a mixture of portfolio and exam based work so students need to be committed to carrying out research and working independently. 

Entry requirements

Grade C (or 4) in GCSE English or English Language, good written skills and an interest in people and how they develop.
