Graphic Design AS/A Level at Bury College

Course description

In both AS and A Level Graphic Design you will explore a range of graphic design areas including: advertising, design and layout, illustration, typography and package design. We have excellent studio facilities in addition to industry standard Apple Mac suites for digital editing. You will also have the chance to visit galleries.

Entry requirements

To take four or more AS subjects in your first year and carry through to at least three full A Levels in year two, you need six GCSEs at grades A*-C, including two subjects at grade B. These need to include grade A*-C in Art or a Design subject and grade A*-C in English. If you are entering with a grade C in Art, or with a Design subject, you may be required to attend extra drawing classes to improve your drawing skills.
