Course description

The 60-credit BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma covers the key knowledge and practical skills required in the performing arts sector. The BTEC offers greater flexibility and a choice of emphasis through the optional units. It is broadly equivalent to one GCE A Level. This means it can be taken alongside other GCE A levels here at The Chase.

The performing arts (Dance) is a 360-guidedlearning-hour (GLH) qualification that consists of two mandatory units plus four optional units that provide for a combined total of 60 credits.

Entry requirements

To be accepted on the course students need to have 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above, including English and Mathematics.
