How will I be studying?
Students will be taught by practising artists who are experienced tutors in studio settings. Study will include practical workshops, discussion, work in learning teams, tutorials, individual research and trips to galleries and exhibitions. A variety of different project briefs will be set.
No previous qualifications required, just a love of art and the will to succeed. You will be invited to attend an interview. You will need to demonstrate a genuine interest in art and the ability to work at Level 3.
On successful completion students can go on to Art College, University or a career in the creative industries. Locally we have partnership agreements with both the University of Worcester and Hereford College of Arts. Recent graduates have gone on to study BA degrees in fine art, illustration, animation, jewellery design, artist blacksmithing and contemporary crafts. Increasingly students are taking Access courses to add to their CV to improve job prospects, or change careers.
