A level French is an enjoyable, interesting and challenging course for very able linguists which will allow you to develop your knowledge of the French language and French culture to a high level. As well as developing your linguistic skills you will learn about a range of contemporary and cultural issues which will broaden your general knowledge and allow you to develop opinions about a range of topics. If you love languages and want to take this further then this is the course for you.

Min 7 in French & English + 3 other Grade 9-4 or A*-C GCSEs
1 combined listening, reading and writing paper:50% 1 writing paper: 20% 1X25 minute speaking test: 30%
Studying a modern language is a means of enhancing your future career opportunities.
You will be expected to spend time out of lesson learning and reinforcing grammar rules, keeping up to date with French current affairs and learning as much vocabulary as possible. Where possible you will expected to attend extra speaking sessions.
