German AS/A2 at Exmouth Community College
If you are the kind of person who enjoys a challenge and is interested in travelling and/or a career that could take you around the world, then German is for you. Communication is the key to all careers and if you are able to communicate with someone in their own language you are already a step ahead of the competition. In addition to developing linguistic ability, the structure of the course will further enhance your practical, research, social and study skills. Topics include leisure and lifestyles, the individual and society, environmental issues, the world of cinema and literature and social and political issues.
You will need a minimum of 7 GCSEs at C or above or 280 points to get a place on this course; including at least a grade B in German. Just as important will be your commitment to language learning and the ability to work hard. Good study skills are essential
