Intermediate Apprenticeship & Advanced Apprenticeship in Providing Financial Services - Level 2/3 at Calderdale College
As an Apprentice you could work in a wide range of Financial Services roles associated with: General Insurance, Long Term Insurance, Retail Banking, Building Societies, Financial Services Advise and Investment Administration. Aspects of the job include face to face and telephone contact with customers, dealing with insurance claims and giving information about products. Both the Apprenticeship and Advanced Apprenticeship include skills assessment in the workplace, day release study for the Technical Certificate and embedded Functional Skills.
The qualification allows for specific technical focus, however it also gives the apprentices a wider focus of cross sector skills such as Customer Care, The Financial Services Sales Process, Leadership and Management.The programme offers:One to one guidance, Regular work-based assignments, NVQ Level 3 in Retail Financial Services (worth 10 credits towards Chartered Institute, CII Certificate). On successful completion, members can register with the Personal Finance Society (PFS) and will be entitled to use the designation Cert PFS.
Must be in a work placement, and be interviewed by a training officer
Assessor guidance and observation. Completion of portfolio evidence. Completion of assignments.

Once completed, Apprentices can go on to study for a number of Advanced Qualifications and Diplomas, Specialist Qualifications of Higher Level.
