Further Mathematics at Writhlington School

Course description

Further Mathematics is studied alongside Mathematics. The course covers the following Pure Maths topics: series; complex numbers; numerical solution of equations; coordinate systems; matrix algebra; proof; inequalities; first and second order differential equations; further complex numbers; Maclaurin and Taylor series.

Entry requirements

To study Further Mathematics you must have at least 5 A*to C grades at GCSE including a grade A in GCSE Mathematics.
