French at St Augustine's Catholic High School
French at AS level builds upon achievement at GCSE. The four skills are taught through topics such as: Media, Health and Fitness and much use is made of authentic materials and emphasis is placed on developing the students' confidence in communication in French. Students have their own copies of texts and access to materials to extend the skills of listening and reading. Activities are regularly recorded using digital equipment in the department. Students use laptops for the listening examinations.
A Grade in the subject
B grade in the subject will be considered.
