Office Administration Level 1 Certificate at Southwark College

Course description

This Level 1 course provides a great opportunity to learn and practice office skills, such as information technology, producing correspondence, planning and organising work tasks and many others in a real working environment. You will meet a wide variety of new people and explore ways to succeed in an office skills career. You will develop interpersonal skills, team working capabilities, employability skills, and gain work experience. This is a one year, three days per week (13 hours per week) course suitable for anyone aged 16 and over. The course starts in September, takes place at the Camberwell Centre and is awarded by OCR.

Entry requirements

An interest in the office environment is essential. This course is suitable for school-leavers and mature students. Applicants are required to have GCSEs grade E (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Those with no formal qualifications will be required to take an assessment in English and Maths to ensure that they are entered at the right level they are expected to be E3/L1. Study support will be offered where necessary. To apply, complete a College application form.
