Sociology AS Level at Aylesbury College
This course should encourage students to acquire knowledge and a critical understanding of contemporary social processes and social changes.
Students will learn to appreciate the significance of theoretical and conceptual issues in sociological debate and Develop skills that enable individuals to focus on their personal identity, roles and responsibilities within society.
Example modules Families and Households Education with Research Methods
5 A*-C grade GCSEs, including Maths and English, with a B grade in the subjects related to this A Level.
You will undertake modular Exams.
After successful completion, you can progress onto A2 Sociology.
There are a number of careers that you will be able to consider. These include Research, Teaching, Media and Civil Services.
