Spanish at Launceston College
Our chosen syllabus (AQA) accommodates the linguistic level of students newly qualified in GCSE, concentrates on developing oral fluency and conversation skills in AS/A2 speaking tests provides a range of stimulating and absorbing study topics with contemporary, literary and cultural content, explores translation skills and advanced grammar to provide useful tools for further study.
You will gain:

Ability to communicate readily for a variety of purposes
Useful knowledge of and insights into Spanish-speaking cultures, both contemporary and historic
Valuable skills for foreign travel, further education and employment. Students who do Spanish are invited to join our annual visit to Santander in Northern Spain.
Minimum of 5 GCSE at C or above, preferably including Maths & English.
