C1 (Core Maths 1)

S1 (Probability and Statistics 1)

A2 is similar with the most usual modules being C3 and C4 (compulsory core modules) and M1 (Mechanics)

Entry requirements

To succeed at A Level Maths you should ideally have A or A* at GCSE and enjoy problem solving, algebra and trigonometry.



All assessment is by examination (Edexcel). There are 2 papers to be taken at the end of year 12.

1. Pure Maths (2 hours)

2. Statistics and Mechanics (1 hour)

There are 3 papers to be taken at the end of year 13.

Paper 2: Pure Maths (2 hours)

Paper 3: Statistics and Mechanics (2 hours)
