Entry requirements

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade A*-C or an equivalent level 2 Media award

Future opportunities

Later you might want to study... Media, Communication Studies, Film Studies, Advertising, Marketing, Film or Television production or another related subject at Higher Education You could take this short course with a GCE or other qualification to prepare for higher education vocational qualifications such as BTEC Higher Nationals in Media or a related degree programme. With further training and experience, you could go into a range of jobs related to the Media Industries and specialise to work in different areas such as sound recording or journalism. You may like to look at doing an apprenticeship with a media company to get more experience and work based training such as an NVQ at level 3 or 4. You could also go straight into a job as the course helps you develop the skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers are looking for.
