BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Business at Rutlish School

Course description

The Subsidiary Diploma in Business Studies is a qualification which allows you to gain a thorough understanding of activities relating to business operations and organisation.

Course content

Four modules are compulsory and you will study two optional units from a wide range including accounting, marketing or business law.

Entry requirements

GCSE Business, Economics or ICT at grade C or BTEC Level 2 Business or ICT at Merit. In exceptional circumstances, students who have not previously studied these subjects may be admitted IF their average GCSE / BTEC grade is a C AND they show a particular aptitude and enthusiasm for the subject.


You will be assessed by the completion of a portfolio of evidence. This may be written, audio, visual or through presentations and role plays.

Future opportunities

On completion of this course you will be suited to progress to study for a degree in Business Studies or a business related degree or training or employment.
