Animal Care Certificate: Level 2 City & Guilds at NESCOT
If you are interested in working with animals our department is ideally equipped to prepare you for this most rewarding and fulfilling career. The courses we teach attract people with many different career aims, from potential veterinary nurses and zoo keepers to farmers. Practical sessions are reinforced by theory classes to ensure that you are well equipped to begin a career in Animal Care.
Level 1 in Land-based Studies as well as English and maths, and accompanied by a satisfactory reference of attendance, behaviour and ability to meet deadlines.
Our students have progressed on to university-level qualifications at:
- HND Animal Management at Nescot.
- Veterinary Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine at University of Surrey, Veterinary Nursing at Royal Veterinary College, Zoology at University of Roehampton and Animal Behaviour at University of Lincoln.
