Studying History at ‘A’ Level you will investigate major issues such as the struggle for Democracy and political freedom, the growth of Autocratic and Fascist states and their impact on people and society, the cause and consequences of political revolution within a major European state. By studying how people in the past confronted their problems you will be better able to understand the issues and dilemma’s that face us in the modern 21stcentury world.
5 GCSE passes at higher grades (C or above) including History and English Language. Students who have not studied History to GCSE, will not be excluded provided that the other requirements are met.
