Music Technology A Level at St Peter's Catholic Comprehensive School
Students will work alongside other musicians to create recordings, as well as using music technology to create arrangements of pre-existing compositions. They will develop their critical ear and ability to make musical judgements, and will analyse the recordings and arrangements of others. They will examine music across a diverse range of genres, studying popular music from 1910 to the present day. They will learn new composition and arranging techniques. They will need to work hard and be committed to completing assignments within the given deadlines. They will gain a real sense of achievement in preparing and presenting their arrangements and recordings.
Grade B and above at GCSE Music, and the ability to sing or play an instrument. You should be computer-literate and have a technological interest.
