Production Arts: Level 3 at Gateway College
This course will allow you to explore the many different roles associated with various types of live performance and theatre. You will become part of the Gateway College production arts team, and will have the opportunity to work on live productions, shows and gigs, throughout the academic year. You will be required to work outside of normal college hours on such events and may often be given the opportunity to work on extra cross college events and exhibitions. Assessment is continuous; you will be graded on work within class, rehearsals, log books, and each assigned role that you carryout in live performances throughout the year. The production arts team are the backbone to all live performances and events at Gateway.
We hold taster workshops from January to March which gives you the opportunity to meet the teachers and explore the fantastic facilities at Gateway. We also suggest you come and see our productions to witness first-hand the quality of work we produce. We are developing our external industry links, including Curve Theatre in Leicester.
