Central Heating Installation Engineer Apprentice at British Gas

Course description

uring your Apprenticeship, in addition to the excellent technical training which includes the City & Guilds Level 3 QCF Diploma in Domestic Gas Engineering, you will complete a personal programme of activities to achieve the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh Gold award or British Gas Award programme.

Entry requirements

You must hold a minimum of 4 GCSEs/Scottish Standard Grades or equivalent at grade C or above, including English, Maths and preferably Science as well as a practical subject such as Technology / Food Technology or Electronics. Your application should ideally show evidence of your practical hobbies and interests, including voluntary work. You must also have a full driving licence with 6 points or less for use within the UK. The role will involve heavy lifting, so a suitable level of physical fitness will be required.

Future opportunities

In return, you will receive fantastic training in a British Gas academy. This Apprenticeship is a self driven programme that requires highly motivated individuals to manage their own development throughout the duration of the training.
