Course description

This is an innovative and fast paced course that introduces you to a wide range of skills aimed at preparing you for a career as a software designer across a broad range of applications. You will focus on developing key programming skills for software development, covering procedural programming, event driven and object orientated programming using C++, Visual Basic and JAVA.

Entry requirements

You will need four GCSEs at grade C including maths and English or a Level 2 Diploma in an IT related subject at a merit or distinction grade.

Assessment

You can progress onto a wide range of degrees in related areas or enter employment as a web developer, games tester, computer animator or a computer games designer all industries that are going through significant growth.
