Course description

Psychology, the study of mind and behaviour, is one of the most exciting and rapidly advancing scientific frontiers. Students choose to study psychology because they find the discipline fascinating and they want to learn how and why they and others think and behave the way they do.

Course content

Social influence, memory, attachment, biopsychology, psychopathology, approaches, forensics, schizophrenia and relationships.



Entry requirements

To access this course the following grades  will be required

English - 6

Maths - 5

Science -5


3 x exams at the end of the second year

Psychology is particularly useful for many careers including the Police, social work, management and industry.
