Electrical Installation - Advanced Apprenticeship at The Growth Company (formerly The Skills Company)

Course description

To work in electrical installation you'll need a keen interest in technology, good analytical skills and be able to work using your own initiative. There are a lot of progression opportunities within this industry, with qualified apprentices working for specialist contractors or companies that install and maintain renewable energy technologies.

What will you do?

Electrical Apprentices:

  • Install and connect wiring systems
  • Diagnose faults
  • Test electrical systems

Course content

Level 3 in Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs A-C, including English and Maths.

BPEC assessment.

Financial information

You will be paid a salary whilst completing your apprenticeship. Any training costs will be paid with government funding and/or by your employer.

Future opportunities

You could progress on to become a site supervisor or own your own business.
