ICT - A2 at Wallington County Grammar School

Course description

A2 ICT focuses on the application of ICT, rather than the science and theories behind it. The emphasis is on how the subject relates to business, commerce and society. The course gives you the opportunity to extend your knowledge and skills on the various application packages such as Databases, Spreadsheets, Word Processors, Presentation, Graphics and many more. In order to succeed in this course, students should have, or be willing to develop, good time and project management skills. The nature of this course is such that it can be complementary to any other Advanced Level course. This subject is not a specific requirement for any degree course but does equip students with good ICT skills that will complement any degree or career.

Typically students opting for ICT are usually considering a career in Business, Administration or a non-scientific/engineering discipline.
