Mathematics GCSE at Plashet School

Course description

The Syllabus covers the topics of Using and Applying, Number and Algebra, Space and Measures and Handling Data. Regular Recap tests assess the various components of the course and lead to the Module tests which provide a grade for each unit of the course. Students work is reviewed every half term on the basis of Recap and Module test marks. Some of the examination papers are Calculator and some are Non calculator therefore a scientific calculator* is required. Other equipment required: pen, pencil*, 30cm ruler*, angle indicator*, pair of compasses.
