Woodcraft Skills at Groundwork Leeds

Course description

Tackling behaviour, attendance and engagement.

Groundwork works with groups of young people in schools over a 10-12 week period, tackling issues such as self esteem, low attainment, motivation and attendance. Groundwork can tailor-make programmes to the needs of a group. Activities include first aid, boat building, woodland skills, charcoal production, horticulture and allotment work.  Groundwork recognises the benefits of getting young people out into the fresh air and creating learning opportunities in a range of environments at a pace to suit all abilities.
