17th Edition Wiring Regulation Certificate in Requirements for Electrical Installations at Northumberland College

Course description

This course is for you if you need the 17th Edition qualification for your work.

Course content

You will study the navigation technique required to pass the online exam and any associated theory. The use of a computer exam simulator will be employed after the first few weeks to prepare students for the online exam

Entry requirements

You will need to have an interest or qualifications in electrical installation and will ideally have worked as or be working in the electrical industry.

Assessment

Your progress will be assessed via a multiple choice online test of 60 questions completed in two hours. This is an open-book exam (you can take the 17th Edition book into the exam with you).

Future opportunities

After completing the course you could progress to an NVQ level 3 while gaining employment in Electrical Domestic Installation and study for the Portable Appliance Testing - City and Guilds 2377 qualification. Or complete a PLC course to enhance your skills as an electrician.
