Business Studies at St Edward's College
Business Studies is a demanding and diverse subject that challenges your numerical skills, your ability to handle data, and how well you are able to construct balanced and convincing written arguments. These are essential qualities that universities and employers look for.
You will study how business operates in the world today, and how it impacts upon our daily lives. This covers marketing, accounting and finance, human resource management, operations management, business objectives and how government laws and policies affect business. To do this, you will engage in wider reading on business case studies, keep a key eye on current business news, and be able to communicate your opinions in a clear and persuasive manner.
