Geography A Level at Chilwell School
Course description
Geography will expand your horizons, and enable you to develop an understanding of global problems and environmental responsibility. You will study themes such as hazard zones, climate change, population change and globalisation. Field work and research are important components of the Geography course. You do not have to have studied Geography at GCSE to take AS/A2, but it is an advantage. What is important is that you have a lively and enquiring mind, an interest in the environment and current affairs, a willingness to explore new ideas and an ability to communicate your ideas effectively.
