City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma: Women's Hairdressing at Loughborough College

Course description

This course follows on from the knowledge and skills gained at Level 1 and covers all basic hairdressing services.

Course content

This Diploma in Women's Hairdressing covers cutting, blow-drying, setting, colouring, and perming. You will also study theoretical units, which include health and safety, client care and communication, retailing, and reception duties.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE (or Functional Skills) English and Maths at grade D (or Level 1).

Future opportunities

You can progress on to the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Women's Hairdressing or an Apprenticeship in the sector.
