Motor Vehicle Body & Paint Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2 at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College
If you want a career that allows you to be practical and work with a range of vehicles, this is the perfect Apprenticeship for you. Covering body repair and welding, this course will equip you will all of the skills and knowledge you need to work in the body and paint repair industry.
Examples of units you may cover include:-Removing and fitting body panels-Repairing non-structural body panels-Welding-Preparing metal and pre-painted surfaces-Preparing and applying fillers and foundation materials -Repairing minor paint defects
To progress onto a Level 2 Apprenticeship you will need up to five GCSEs grade D-G, including a grade D in English and Maths*.
In order to start an Apprenticeship, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.

The apprenticeship will be assessed in a variety of ways including on-line exams, written assignments, completing practical tasks and work based practical observations.
You can progress to an Advanced Apprenticeship or go into full-time employment.
Four days per week in the workplace and one day per week at College.
