Course description

Our Level 2 Travel and Tourism Qualification is your gateway into one of the most exciting and varied industries in the world. Times are tough and jobs are hard to come by but did you know that according to the Office for National Statistics the tourism industry provided a third of all new jobs created in the UK between 2010 and 2013 and accounted for 9% of the UK's GDP. Unsure what GDP is? Don't worry. You will learn all about Gross Domestic Product and a ton of other useful information that will help you to take your first steps into an amazing career. A career which could see you do so many things from travelling the world as Cabin Crew, looking after holidaymakers as an Overseas Holiday Rep, or managing conference and events at hotels and festivals. Course content

You will be taught by qualified lecturers who have all had travel industry experience. Entry requirements

Four grade D's at GCSE or equivalent But don't worry if your results are not quite as good as you had hoped, come and talk to one of the team and we can assess each person's suitability on a one to one basis.


We use a variety of methods to check your understanding of the topics we cover which include;Written assignment writingRole playsPresentationsPosters and DisplaysExams (only for two topics, don't panic! We will work with you to give you the best opportunity to pass them both)
