Children's Workforce (Early Years Educator) Level 3 Diploma at London Training Centre Limited

Course description

This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and above. This qualification is designed for learners who work, or wish to work, with children from birth to 5 years old in a variety of settings.

The NCFE Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s Workforce (Early Years Educator) has been accredited by the qualifications regulator for England and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).

This qualification has been developed in response to the Department for Education (DfE) and the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) joint policy ‘Improving the quality and range of education and childcare from birth to 5 years’.

This qualification meets the knowledge and practical skills criteria defined in the ‘Early Years Educator (Level 3): Qualifications Criteria (July 2013)’ published by NCTL, and is suitable for;

practitioners working in day nurseries, nursery schools, primary school reception classes and those registered as childminders and nannies.

​This qualification confirms competence for those working towards Early Years Educator status in meeting the required full and relevant criteria for the sector.

This qualification may be eligible for funding.
