Course description

This Apprenticeship will provide you with an excellent starting point for you to begin progressing in a range of areas including Healthcare Support Worker, Care Assistant, Personal Care Assistant, Relief Team Worker.

Course content

As part of a Health & Social Care Level 2 Apprenticeship with Training Works 4 U you could choose from a range of roles in a variety of settings from residential homes to hospitals. You could be looking after the elderly or going out to patients at their own homes.


Whilst gaining experience in a practical role you will also work towards the qualifications you will need to kick-start a successful career in the industry.

Entry requirements

To start an Apprenticeship with Training Works 4 U you have to be aged 16 years or over and must be working in the Health and Social Care sector for at least 16 hours a week. You also need to be a resident in England and not taking part in full-time education. You will be ineligible if you have achieved a level 4 or above.


All learners will undertake an initial assessment for Maths and English at the enrolment stage, this assessment will identify the areas of strength and highlight any areas that may require additional development.

Future opportunities

After completing this Apprenticeship, you could progress to the Level 3 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship. You will also be able to work in residential and domiciliary services and homes.
