Further Mathematics A Level at Warwickshire College Group
Advanced Level Further Mathematics is an excellent foundation for students intending to study either Mathematics in its own right or a subject with a mathematical base at university. Note that you must also choose to study A Level Mathematics to be able to study A Level Further Mathematics.
In addition to studying pure mathematics and mechanics in A level Maths, students will study statistics, decision mathematics and further pure mathematics.
- Statistics – representation of data, probability and bivariate data.
- Decision Maths – algorithms, graph theory, networks and linear programming.
- Further Pure Maths – mathematical induction, complex numbers, matrices, summation of series.
Further development of the topics studied at AS level.

Five grade C GCSE to include English Language and a grade A* in GCSE Mathematics.
Offers subject to a satisfactory School Report.
At both AS and A2 Level : three equally weighted written examinations
