Course description

Why study Chemistry?

Students will develop leadership and team participation whilst taking responsibility for individual work.

Course content

Exam Board: AQA

AS Units:

Unit 1 - Foundation Chemistry

Unit 2 - Chemistry in Action

Unit 3 - Investigative and Practical Skills

A2 Units:

Unit 4 - Kinetics, Equilibrium, and Organic Chemistry

Unit 5 - Energetics, Redox and Inorganic Chemistry

Unit 6 - Investigative and Practical Skills

Entry requirements

A minimum of 5 A*-C GCSEs -including B grade additional Science. It is strongly advised that students are at least grade B standard in Mathematics.

Assessment

Grade C in Double Science 5 GCSE’s A*—C
