Technology (Food Technology) AS/A2 Level at Holte School
This course is based on a mix of coursework and exam performance. Studies include health and hygiene, nutritional content, presentation, industrial practices and a wide range of preparation techniques.
Practical work is a large part of the course offering and students should be aware of the need for them to bring their ingredients to school on a regular basis to allow their class work to proceed.
5 GCSE’s grade A*-C including English and Mathematics. Preferably also with a B grade at GCSE in the related specialism.
