Applied ICT qualifies for UCAS points so it could allow you to study for a degree or BTEC higher national diploma in related subjects such as Business Studies, Information Systems or Computer Studies, You could also go on to work-based training such as IT NVQs or vendor-specific qualifications.

The qualification would suit students who enjoy or would like to develop, a more independent style of learning.  This style of learning is good preparation of university/college.  This BTEC qualification compliments all other AS/A2 Levels including ICT, D&T, Drama, Psychology, English, Maths & Geography.
