As an Apprentice, you'll be doing a paid job with paid holidays, getting practical hands-on training.

Course content

Competence qualification - 37 credits Knowledge qualification - 13 credits Functional skills in English and Maths - 10 credits The competence qualification includes the following mandatory units: Maintain a safe hygienic and secure working environment Work effectively as part of a hospitality team Give customers a positive impression of self and your organisation Maintain food safety when storing, holding and serving food There are many optional units that meet your individual circumstances, which may include: Prepare and clear areas for table service Serve food at the table Serve alcoholic and soft drinks Maintain and deal with payments Promote additional services and products to customers.
