This course will help prepare you for a career in electrical engineering. Students achieve City & Guilds 2365 Electrical Installations Level 2 upon successful completion of the course.

  • electrical wiring regulations
  • electrical measurement
  • health and safety
  • maths and English


  • GCSEs at grade four in maths and English, and science at grade C or above, or
  • GCSEs at grade C in maths, English and science, or
  • Electrical Installations Level 1 Diploma or equivalent and maths and English at level one
  • successful attendance at interview event and satisfactory references

    • September 2014 sees the grand unveiling of a new £45 million Thurrock Campus in Grays which will include restaurants, health facilities, shops and an advice centre. There will also be specialist workshop and studio spaces linked to courses for technology, media and creative arts, and facilities for art, design, logistics, engineering and IT courses.
