The BTEC Level 3 National Subsidiary Diploma in Performing Arts is designed to provide specialist work-related qualifications in a range of performance disciplines. This qualification gives learners the knowledge, understanding and skills to prepare them for employment or further education. The qualification offers an engaging programme of 100% internally assessed coursework for those who are clear about the area of employment that they wish to enter.

Optional Units which include areas such as:

 

Physical Theatre

Musical Theatre

Dance 

Performance

 

Assessment: 100% Internally Assessed

                                          

 

Career Opportunities: Higher education courses in Performing Arts and production plus additional courses which leads to work related set design, costume design, makeup, lighting and administration.

 

Entry Requirements: 4 A* - C GCSE’s to include:

  • GCSE English Language at Grade C.
  • GCSE Performing Arts, Theatre or Drama at Grade C, if taken.
  • Active involvement in extra curricular Performing Arts activities.
